Meet The Team

Who are we and why are we at Blue Wheelers?
Meet the folks behind the success of Australia's No.1 mobile dog grooming and washing service provider!
Franchisor
Martin Rose
For more than 20 years Martin Rose has been involved in the franchise industry. Fifteen of these years as the Victorian Franchisor for New Zealand Natural, an international ice cream parlour chain. During that time he was responsible for the development, not only of the business in that state but was actively involved in the development of the franchise and retail concept.
After selling that business (and seeing the light!), he consulted to a number of retail and franchise businessed until buying Blue Wheelers.
Martin's vision for Blue Wheelers is to see it continue as the leader in the Mobile Dog Grooming industry; but to also ensure 'best practices' in Franchising.
Martin prides himself on his commitment to driving Blue Wheelers's growth while ensuring the continued success of all franchisees.

National Manager
Colin Dearing
I initially bought the Master Franchise of Greater Northern NSW, ranging from the Central Coast in NSW up to Ballina in Northern NSW. This area had one franchisee in it at the time of purchase in 2004. In 2007, I bought the master franchise for SA with existing franchisees and in 2011, I also purchased the Northern Territory / Far North Queensland. These areas have been rapidly growing to their current size of about 50 franchisees, with no signs of slowing down.
I believe the success of Blue Wheelers is in the knowledge that the system works. Our franchisees are happy doing what they love and are earning what they want to earn. I enjoy my role of introducing new people to Blue Wheelers and making franchisees happy and successful.
Although my job this keeps me busy, it is very rewarding and I intend to grow all areas of Blue Wheelers consistently moving forwards. In between times, I like to spend as much time as possible with my wife and young family.
The future of Blue Wheelers is looking better than ever! So if you are looking to make a real difference in your life, please give us a call to see if we can help.
National Operations Manager
Colin Burrow
Colin, also known as Col, first joined the Blue Wheelers team as a franchisee in NSW, in 2005. After spending 16 years in the transport industry, Col's life took a turn for better. It all started when Col used to book Blue Wheelers to groom his dog. He saw how happy and full of life his regular operator was every time he booked an appointment. This made Col decide that his love for dogs was well worth a life change and he ended up puchasing a Blue Wheelers franchisee.
As Col’s passion for dog grooming grew, so did his involvement with Blue Wheelers. In 2009, he became the State Manager for South Australia. In this role, Col used his varied skills to grow the South Australian team extensively, adding many new franchisees.
Col is now Blue Wheelers’s National Operations Manager. In this role, Col delivers our company motto. “Changing people’s lives for the better” and also maintaining national standards.
Col travels the country, keeping our franchisees happy and up-to-date with the latest tools, information and training. By insisting that Blue Wheelers’s franchisees deliver the best possible service to our customers - day in and day out, he also ensures that they have a successful and thriving Blue Wheelers business.
Colin commits to follow the National Best Standard Practises to insure that Blue Wheelers stays Australia’s No.1 Mobile Grooming Service.
Master Franchisees, WA
Scott & Janine Hoffman
I joined the Blue Wheelers team in 2009, after owning retail stores in the telecommunications industry for over 16 years. I was looking for a change in lifestyle and chose to join Blue Wheelers when I stumbled upon a bunch of people who were passionate about what they did and were having fun while making money along the way.
Coming from the extremely competitive industry of telecommunications, I understand the importance of joining the best in the industry, which is another reason why I chose to join Blue Wheelers. It is the No.1 Mobile Grooming Franchise in Australia. It has a strong brand, great reputation and when my wife saw the “Big Blue Dog” we were blown away!
Over the last 16 years, I have learnt how to build and run successful businesses. Now I use these skills to assist my WA team members, grow their business and also accomplish their personal goals through their Blue Wheelers business.
I run the WA Master Franchise with my wife Janine. Janine has worked in marketing for many years and enjoys using her expertise in the Blue Wheelers business. We are thrilled to be a part of the Blue Wheelers family. We enjoy changing people’s lives for the better by helping them get into a business that provides flexibility, lifestyle and great cash flow, while getting outdoors and pampering the furry family member.
