Training

The intensive training program which is undertaken by all new Franchisees includes:

 

  • Operating the equipment inside the mobile salon including the hydro bath, clippers etc;
  • Procedures for keeping all equipment clean and in working order;
  • Procedures for washing and drying;
  • Procedures for cleaning nails and ears;
  • And most importantly, we teach you how to make phone bookings; build your customer relationships; and manage the day to day running of your own business;
  • Account keeping; customer service; marketing and diary management.

Clipping

  • Understanding different clips and blades to use and how to make correct selections of blades;
  • Precise instruction on the most vulnerable areas of the dog;
  • Direction of the clipper flow at each particular part of the dog;
  • Demonstrations on correct clipping procedures.
  • Dog safety and public safety;
  • Dog Health
  • Dog handling and how to identify behaviours e.g. submissiveness; fear, aggression and pain
