Training
The intensive training program which is undertaken by all new Franchisees includes:
- Operating the equipment inside the mobile salon including the hydro bath, clippers etc;
- Procedures for keeping all equipment clean and in working order;
- Procedures for washing and drying;
- Procedures for cleaning nails and ears;
- And most importantly, we teach you how to make phone bookings; build your customer relationships; and manage the day to day running of your own business;
- Account keeping; customer service; marketing and diary management.
Clipping
- Understanding different clips and blades to use and how to make correct selections of blades;
- Precise instruction on the most vulnerable areas of the dog;
- Direction of the clipper flow at each particular part of the dog;
- Demonstrations on correct clipping procedures.
- Dog safety and public safety;
- Dog Health
- Dog handling and how to identify behaviours e.g. submissiveness; fear, aggression and pain
